Korrethbims
In addition to the Yali®, Bouwstoffen Unie supplies a number of other Bims, including Granular Bims.
Due to its good hook resistance and high porosity, Bims is absorbent and draining. Therefore, Bims is widely used as a light foundation layer in settlement-prone areas, or weak soils. In the western part of the Netherlands, where the weak peat soil provides a poor foundation, the light stone type is preferred.
Because of Bims' good moisture absorption, it is also used as a material in crawl spaces.

Available in various grain distributions, such as 0-3 mm, 0-8 mm, 2-10 mm, 0-16 mm and 0-31.5 mm.
Korrethbims has a low specific gravity: loose poured moist from 950 kg/m3 at natural moisture content.
