Concrete aggregate

Concrete granulate comes from recycling companies that crush and screen concrete rubble. From selected clean concrete rubble, various processes produce granulate, which is again suitable for use in new concrete and as a foundation material in road construction. Concrete granulate can be supplied in washed and unwashed quality.

range

Concrete aggregate is a composition composed mainly of concrete rubble with few foreign constituents.
Washed concrete aggregate contains a low percentage of fine constituents.

The most common grades of concrete aggregate are: 0/8 mm, 4/16 mm and 0/32 mm.

MARKETS

Concrete granulate is used in certain types of concrete ; and in road construction as a solid foundation material or as a foundation layer.

Lower quality concrete aggregate is called mixed aggregate or masonry aggregate. This is produced with a lower proportion of pure concrete rubble and with more other stony debris from masonry and (baked) roof tiles, among others. These materials are mainly used in foundations under roads.

specific characteristics

  • Concrete granulate is a sustainable use of concrete rubble

  • Supplied with KOMO product certificate
