Roof Gravel
Roof gravel is optimally suited as ballast on flat roofs. Roof gravel is round, clean washed and dust free. Its special composition makes it UV-resistant and permanently draining for rapid drainage of rainwater. In addition, this round gravel is easy to walk on, without leakage damage to roof bitumen.
Roof gravel is river gravel from the southern Rhine, also called Upper Rhine. The specific round grains are characteristic of Upper Rhine Gravel.
Gravel is a sedimentary rock. It was deposited in the Rhine River via glaciers from the Alps. The grains have been rounded by water and ice over time.
