Grauwacke quartzite

Grauwacke quartzite is a high-quality crushed hardstone from quarries in Germany's Sauerland region. This multiple broken quarzitic sandstone is also called Grazite. Grauwacke Quartzite is sharp-edged and offers high resistance to polishing and abrasion It provides long-lasting slip-resistant overlays in ZOAB and SMA.

This grazite is also an excellent aggregate material in concrete pavements and paving products.
Efficient delivery by ship results in a very low environmental profile and MKI value.

All kinds of grades are available, from crusher sand to 22 mm.
All quality grades of asphalt can be produced with this hard rock.

Grauwacke Edelsplit has been used successfully in Dutch asphalt for decades.
This light gray crushed stone is also a desirable product in all kinds of concrete, such as paving stones.
