KAM Employee

Your role as a KAM Employee

You will step into a role that is currently handled with great care by a valued colleague. In addition to additional work due to our growth, he is also planning to retire in a few years. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to settle in quietly, take over a few projects first, and get to know the whole playing field of our organization.

In your role, after your induction period, you will be responsible for securing and improving our quality, health and safety and environmental (KAM) processes, with an emphasis on product quality.

Your TAKEN PACKAGE

Your duties are very diverse and varied. You check whether incoming raw materials, such as gravel and crushed stone, meet standards and European legal regulations for application in concrete and road construction. You prepare and supervise external and internal audits for quality and environmental certifications, such as KOMO. You ensure that we comply with the VCA regulations and carry out the Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RIE). In addition, you organize toolbox meetings and training courses to make employees aware of quality and safety regulations, You arrange for compliance with European legislation when it comes to quality and environmental requirements and handle complaints.

In time, you will advise management on practical implementations of trends and developments. You will join industry consultations and work on sustainable solutions, such as sustainability in shipping or the implementation of life cycle analyses.

CAM EMPLOYEE DUTIES

  • You secure and improve our processes in the KAM area, with an emphasis on product quality

  • You check that incoming raw materials, such as gravel and crushed stone, meet standards and European legal regulation for application in concrete and road construction

  • You prepare and supervise external and internal audits for quality and environmental certifications, such as KOMO

  • You ensure that we comply with SCC regulations and perform Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RIE).

  • In doing so, you organize toolbox meetings and trainings to make employees aware of quality and safety regulations

  • You arrange for compliance with European legislation when it comes to quality and environmental requirements
  • Complaint handling, find out if this is in the supply, at the shipper/transporter, at us internally, at the contract delivery or customer.

What do you bring?

  • You have an HBO working and thinking level;

  • You have knowledge and experience of Concrete Technology or Aggregates, or willingness to acquire this;
  • You are good at persevering and steadfast in your vision;
  • You are accurate, analytical and can work in a structured manner;

  • You "have experience in a quality function. A technical background and affinity for construction raw materials is a nice touch.

  • You can work well independently;

  • Your command of Dutch and English is excellent. German is a strong plus, as many of our suppliers speak German
