Excavation sand

Raised sand is excellent for embankments, additions and foundations in road construction and building sites. It provides a stable surface when building roads or for construction projects. Raising sand is also called drain sand, fill sand or blowing sand. Specific types of fill sand can also be used well as play sand.

According to its fine grain structure, it is permeable to water and well compacted.

Embankment sand is a simple type of river sand or comes from land reclamation.

Raised sand is available in bulk, loose fill and big bags.

Grades 0/5 mm, 0/1 mm and 0/2 mm are common.

Raised sand is widely used within road construction.
