Stone chip
Crushed stone is also called split. It is crushed rock and crushed gravel (pebble). Professionally crushed crushed rock offers great hook resistance and interconnectedness, which is why it is mainly used in the preparation of asphalt, both in sub-, intermediate and overlay layers. A firm road surface and minimal rutting is the result. The rough grains ensure good skid resistance of the road surface. Crushed stone is also excellent for use in high-quality concrete.
The crushed stone range from Bouwstoffen Unie comes with the necessary certificates and CE marking.
Moräne Edelsplit
Moräne Edelsplit is a high-quality crushed Rhine gravel, also called Alpine Moraine. Moräne or Moraine split is clean washed, dust-free and angular. This gravel adheres excellently to bitumen, which is why it is optimally suited for use in asphalt mixtures. This split is also an excellent aggregate material in concrete pavements and paving products.
Dutch crushed stone
Dutch crushed stone is a crushed Maas gravel. It is a multiple broken crushed crushed gravel of gravel boulders from the Meuse river basin. Dutch crushed stone is clean washed and angular. The dust-free product is excellent for use in asphalt mixtures because it adheres well to bitumen. This crushed stone is also an excellent aggregate material in concrete pavements and paving products.
Grauwacke quartzite
Grauwacke quartzite is a high-quality crushed hardstone from quarries in Germany's Sauerland region. This multiple broken quarzitic sandstone is also called Grazite. Grauwacke Quartzite is sharp-edged and offers high resistance to polishing and asphalt wear. It provides long-lasting skid-resistant overlays in ZOAB and SMA. This grazite is also an excellent aggregate material in concrete pavements and pavement products.
Limestone
Limestone is a fractured sedimentary rock, mostly from quarries in Belgium. Originally, hard limestone is an excellent aggregate for concrete because of its good binding properties. It can be used to produce all types of durable concrete products. Limestone is available in different varieties from 2/8mm to 16/32mm.
garden pebbles & natural stone pebbles
Garden gravel is widely used on garden paths, open pavements and in parks. This loose-grained gravel remains draining and is easy to work with. Garden gravel is natural gravel from quarries or is a crushed gravel (crushed stone). Garden gravel is available in all kinds of natural colors and variations.
